The Library's Reserves policy is based on federal copyright law (17 U.S.C. , sec. 107 et seq.), which permits libraries to provide copies of copyright-protected materials for educational, research, or scholarly use.
Faculty should adhere to the University's Copyright and Duplication Policy when submitting items for Reserves.
If the Library does not own the title and you cannot provide the Library with a personal copy, then please submit a request for the Library to purchase a copy - Book Request
The Library will not be responsible for damaged or lost personal items submitted for Reserves.
Please identity materials in exactly the same manner as in the course syllabus.
All Reserves will be removed at the end of each semester. All faculty personal copies will be returned to faculty via intercampus mail, unless other arrangements are made.
